I love the idea of cities being built over cities. During my short time in grad school, we had a project where we had to make a city tour of our choosing. I ended up enjoying the project I chose but I wish I had pursued another project on the layers upon layers that make up a city. It’s not quite as pronounced in LA as it is in NYC but something could be done (the public transportation rails that fell into disuse all over the city maybe?)

I want to go to this!
I finally did something with my website. The front page will be home to things I make/photographs I take* that I am particularly proud of. It will serve as a catch-all for my various internet appearances and for general information about me. Thanks to Kirk for using the theme for his wedding website and then for telling me about it.
*My 365 Project has obviously fallen by the wayside. The photographs on my main site will be different in that they are favorites or ones that I particularly want to show off. I am not a photographer but these photographs do tell the world a little something about me.
I will post this again later to catch some of my friends that are on the west coast.
